Understanding the Abdominals

Sometimes it's hard to visualize all the muscles and how they are supposed to be working. After 30 years of teaching exercise classes I know that people struggle with understanding the abdominal muscles and proper muscle recruitment patterns. In this video I give you a visual of your 4 abdominal muscles. The transverses abdominus, the internal and external obliques and the rectus abdominus.
